Slate. A production app you can try before signing up.

The Slate homepage: the headline “Move a scene. See what moves with it.” beside an interactive schedule demo.
  1. The idea. Slate carries every scene of a film from script through schedule, call sheet and delivery. Its promise is easy to say and hard to show: move one scene and see everything that moves with it.

  2. The site. So the home page doesn’t describe that; it does it. A small working schedule sits beside the headline. Tap a day and Scene 24 moves, with the cast gap and company move it causes shown before anything is committed.

Further down, the same approach: a real breakdown with page eighths taken from the script’s own pagination, and the call sheet in both of its forms, warm paper for email and black and white for the set.

  3. The details. The beta terms are stated up front and plainly: free while in beta, with at least thirty days’ notice before anything changes.

Slate's breakdown: a script turned into a list of numbered scenes, each with interior or exterior, day or night, and its length in page eighths.
The breakdown, built from the script’s own pagination.

Two versions of the same call sheet side by side, one on warm paper for email and one in black and white for printing on set.
